Nothing to the Right: The 13th New Jersey Infantry

The New Jersey State Monument at Antietam

Follow along the footsteps of the 13th New Jersey. This unit was one of a very few Union regiments that fought at two separate places during the Battle of Antietam. Thrown into the desperate fighting along the Hagerstown Pike fences in a call for help to save their comrades from sure destruction! Then to be asked to penetrate the Confederate stronghold of the haunting West Woods. A fascinating two hour hike along the famous Corn Field and the Hagerstown pike then into the West Woods to explore the deceptively dangerous terrain confronted by both armies.

Your tour guide is Martin Pritchett.
